We offer students the chance to gain real-life work experience through our Café work experience programme. We provide best-in-class training so that when our students move on from Pioneer House High School, they are confident and skilled baristas and expert cafe assistants! 

 

Our Café work experience programme is designed for students to receive in house, work experience. It Provides essential life skills and experiences to our students and helping them connect with the local community​

 We provide a forgiving environment where our learners can take the time they need to grow into the confident baristas we know they can be. 

 

At the cafe, our learners acquire knowledge alongside a job coach and café manager. From day one they’ll be on the cafe floor watching, practising and honing in on their coffee / cafe knowledge. At The Strawberry Fox, we teach a whole range of transferable skills such as effective communication, health & safety in the workplace, and time management.

 

We also equip our learners with a variety of qualifications such AQA Unit awards in
